Deadline for lodgement
This page is not comprehensive. Please use the menu on the left to see other information regarding requirements for gazettal.
Weekly publication
Gazettes are published every Friday and are usually available on the website before midday. This is considered the “regular” publication. It is preferred that most notices are published this way.
Notices for publication in the regular Gazette must be submitted via the lodgement form no later than midday Thursday, for publication the next day.
Urgent publication
Irregular or “special” publication is reserved for urgent notices. When submitting your notice, select the proposed date of gazettal and provide the reason for the urgency. For same day publication, the notice should be lodged no later than 5pm.
You should obtain the approval of a director or executive director before requesting urgent gazettal. Please email nswgazette.help@pco.nsw.gov.au with this approval and advise you have lodged the notice for urgent publication. A PCO officer will respond between 8:30am and 5pm on weekdays to confirm the request will be processed.
Approved urgent Gazettes are published on the day requested, subject to the relevant approval being provided to PCO.
